In this part, we will describe the autonomous vehicle Autominy. We will show its main components, its different modules, and how it can be upgraded by adding some specific boards. Furthermore, we indicate the type of batteries that power the autonomous vehicle, how it works the emergency stop, and how a physical model is created in simulation through the Gazebo tool. Then, we focus on the software necessary to use the Autominy car. These tools include the installation of Ubuntu 18.04 or 20. 04, and ROS Melodic or ROS Noetic, depending on the installed operative system. Finally, we include the steps to install the packages needed to control the Autominy car.
